EXPERIENCE

I am an experienced DP with six Emmys for my work in Denver, CO and have earned a Masters of Fine Arts in cinematography from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, CA. (June, 2001)  I have taught lighting and cinematography classes at the International Film and Television Workshops in Rockport, ME.
 
For the past five years I have worked as Director of Photography on a variety of features, shorts, documentaries, music videos and commercials.   I have extensive experience in both digital and film formats, including DV, HD, 16mm, and 35mm.  I have shot features using the Sony CineAlta 900WS, one of which won the Audience Choice Award for “Best of the Fest” at the 2003 Breckenridge Film Festival.  I also have experience with the Panasonic VariCam HD, that is the camera I used while shooting Caesars 24/7 for A&E.

As a DP I have experience with low and high budget productions including multi-camera shoots -- including aerial camera work -- managing a large person camera/grip/electric crew, and coordination of 2nd and 3rd unit photography.
